Meet Lady – A Survivor with a Heart of Gold! 🐾💖
Lady’s story is one of resilience, hope, and unconditional love. Found on the side of the road, her body bore the scars of a painful past—riddled with BB gun shots, she had every reason to be afraid. But despite it all, this gentle soul has nothing but love to give. Now, with each passing day, her wounds—both inside and out—are beginning to heal.
Timid at first, Lady just needed a little time to trust. Once she did, she melted into affection, resting her paws on a kind human’s chest, soaking up the love she’s always deserved. She walks beautifully on a leash (except when a squirrel crosses her path—then her playful side shines through!). She’s curious about other dogs, so slow introductions would be best.
Lady is a true cuddle bug, a quiet companion, and a heart-stealer with a beautiful smile. She’s waiting for the right person to show her that the past is behind her and the best is yet to come. Could that person be you?

Located at 190 Carl Alexander Way in Brunswick, GA. Glynn County Animal Services can hold up to approximately 100 dogs and 90 cats at any given time and is often close to capacity. Without changes in legislation regarding spay and neuter or registration of our companion animals, the overpopulation problem will continue to rise. GCAS hopes to help educate the public and be part of the solution.
Glynn County Animal Services accepts strays and owner-surrendered dogs (when not at capacity) and also holds police confiscated dogs from criminal or cruelty cases.
