Our Glynn County Animal Services Dog of the Week is Billy Ray. Billy Ray is an energetic 1.5 year old neutered male that is dog friendly, looking for his perfect family.
Billy Ray is the first dog to participate in the new GCAS & Golden Isles Track Club Running Buddies Program and he did fantastic! He did so well, one of the members took him to the Fur-K Walk, Wag and Run where they came in 2nd place! He kept pace the whole time! Billy Ray also loves to play in the water when he's in the play yards, so he'd likely love to go to the beach!
Billy Ray would love to have a family to go on adventures with! If you're active and looking for someone to share experiences with, he promises to let you pick the destination every time without complaint! He just wants to be by your side. If you're not looking to add someone to your family right now, maybe you'd like to foster him or just take him for some day trips? Can you share Billy Ray with your friends, family and neighbors? Just one share might help him find that special someone.

Located at 190 Carl Alexander Way in Brunswick, GA. Glynn County Animal Services can hold up to approximately 100 dogs and 90 cats at any given time and is often close to capacity. Without changes in legislation regarding spay and neuter or registration of our companion animals, the overpopulation problem will continue to rise. GCAS hopes to help educate the public and be part of the solution.
Glynn County Animal Services accepts strays and owner-surrendered dogs (when not at capacity) and also holds police confiscated dogs from criminal or cruelty cases.
If you're interested in supporting the shelter directly,
you can call them at 912-554-7500 or email animalservices@glynncounty-ga.gov
