Dr. Jaclyn Luckstone of Island Animal Hospital recently taught a class in Pet CPR, with over 25 in attendance. Knowing how to administer CPR to your pet in an emergency situation can mean the difference between life and death. You can watch the video which goes over many of the things that we discussed in class.

Join us for our monthly Community Volunteer Days to learn about all the different ways that you can volunteer at and away from the shelter. You'll go through an orientation that includes safety measures making sure that you and the animals have a great experience together. It's a great time to come meet like minded people and get help from our seasoned volunteers.
Are you interested in fostering but aren't sure what is involved? Can't commit to a long term? Come learn about the different types of foster homes needed, what is provided and how you can help, short, medium and long term. Date TBD. Check back for more details.
