Redhot

Redhot is a 1-year-old neutered Pit mix with a compact build, a gray-and-white coat, and a smile that never seems to fade. This little guy may be small in stature, but his personality is big, bright, and full of joy.

Redhot is “terminally happy” and looks like he’s smiling at all times. He absolutely loves attention and is convinced he’s a lapdog—so don’t be surprised if he tries to climb right into your arms for cuddles. He’s affectionate, well-mannered, and thrives on being close to his people, happily leaning in for pets and greeting everyone with a wagging tail.

He would be best described as a medium-energy boy who simply needs a little time to get his wiggles out before settling into a calm, easygoing companion. On leash, Redhot walks nicely and enjoys exploring his surroundings at a comfortable pace. He takes treats gently, though he isn’t overly food-motivated, and his polite nature makes him a pleasure to spend time with.

With other dogs, Redhot shows friendly, tail-wagging curiosity and would likely thrive in a home with canine companions. His social nature and adaptable personality make him a wonderful candidate for a multi-dog household.

Redhot is heartworm positive and will need continued treatment, but that hasn’t dimmed his happy spirit one bit. He came to Glynn County Animal Services as a found dog from the La Salsa / Altama Avenue area in late December and is more than ready to leave shelter life behind.
