Lily

Lily is a 1½-year-old spayed girl with a gentle soul, playful spirit, and some truly unforgettable ears. She’s dog-friendly, sweet as can be, and still very much a puppy at heart—just with excellent manners when it counts.

Lily has enjoyed several off-site adventures, and she shines everywhere she goes. From pup cups and store visits to beach days and lunch outings, she shows off her polite behavior, calm confidence, and love of people. She walks beautifully on leash (especially once she’s had a chance to burn off a little energy), is non-reactive to distractions like strollers, other dogs, and even rollerbladers, and takes in the world with curious, thoughtful eyes.

At the beach, Lily loved rolling in the sand, chasing squeaky toys, and letting the wind blow through her ears like she was starring in her own shampoo commercial. During meals, she settled nicely by the table, soaking up attention and compliments—because yes, she knows she’s adorable.

Running Buddies describe Lily as affectionate, inquisitive, and a joy to walk. She enjoys stopping to sniff, watching birds around the water, and trotting along with a loose leash—though squirrels may occasionally steal her focus. By the end of her outings, she’s happy to relax, flop in the grass, and accept some well-earned belly rubs.

Lily is currently lightly heartworm positive and will need treatment, but she’s otherwise healthy and full of love to give. She came to Glynn County Animal Services as a found dog from Scarlett Street in late August and has been winning hearts ever since.
