Benny is a happy, energetic boy with the most handsome tiger-striped coat and an even sweeter heart. He gets excited to be out and about and would gladly greet every person he sees. Life is just very exciting to him!

On leash, he can start out a little strong because he’s eager to explore the world, but he settles in as the walk goes on. If you slow down too much, he might gently grab the leash to encourage you to keep up — he’s got places to be and adventures to chase! Once he’s had a chance to burn off some energy, he’s perfectly content soaking up ear scratches and enjoying a few well-earned biscuits.

Benny has been dog-friendly at the shelter and truly just wants to please his people. He would thrive with an active family and would likely benefit from a fenced yard where he can stretch those legs and enjoy being the young dog he is.

He’s still waiting at Glynn County Animal Services for his chance to trade kennel life for couch life.
